With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*
I am linking up with Caffeinated Reviewer and Reading Reality and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.
Stacking The Shelves #232
No new books this week.
Sunday Post #189
November has started with a weather mix of sun, clouds, and rain showers. On Monday morning I pulled all the plugs for my Horizon Receiver and installed the new TV box. It took me about half an hour to get everything in place and running. But I admit, the instructions manual wasn´t very clear about how it should be done, and I tried twice to call the technical service with no success. Well …
It took me an hour the next day, to get someone from the contract department on the phone for some new information. WTF?!
During the rest of the week, I finished two books and started a new one. My current pile of books is now down to five. Yay! Did I do something blog related, like downloading some new covers? No. And I didn´t do anything in the garden either. Instead, I am still trying to cope with the turning back of the clock. It is insane!
During All Saints´ Day, I signed up for the HoHoHo Readathon. My list of winterly or Christmas-themed novels is long, and with two new releases on that list, I guess I have a good chance to read at least one during this thon.
The rest of the week was pretty much the same. Uneventful and with the usual routine. I walk every day for about two hours, read a few pages, and get my household done.
My Sunday routine hasn´t changed much. I slept long, read a few pages while still in bed and during the afternoon I started cleaning my kitchen and prepared for all the things I will have to do Monday.
How was your week? Stay safe and healthy.
Happy reading
The weather has been rather unseasonably nice here, which feels weird. I'm looking forward to doing the HoHoHo readathon as well.
ReplyDeleteHope you are well and have a great week!
Sorry about the TV frustration. I hope everything works now. Have a great week and enjoy your Christmas books!
