is a weekly event that was originally hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. This meme is a place that spotlights upcoming releases that we´re eagerly anticipating with pure joy. There are a lot of new books coming out each year and some of them catch my attention and will get a spotlight in my Waiting on Wednesday post. While some of them will finally end up here at my place, others won´t. I am joining Tressa at Wishful Endings and her meme Can´t-Wait Wednesday.
This week I am presenting you the German edition of a novel about tea written by a new-to-me author. The cover with all its colors and the fact, that it was quite a challenge to read the title, caught my attention *lol* And when I discovered that it is a story about tea and the ceremonial part of how to make it, I was fascinated. So, yes, I hope that it will meet my expectations and be a good if not great read next year.

For Ning, the only thing worse than losing her mother is knowing that it's her own fault. She was the one who unknowingly brewed the poison tea that killed her - the poison tea that now threatens to also take her sister, Shu. When Ning hears of a competition to find the kingdom's greatest shennong-shi - masters of the ancient and magical art of tea-making - she travels to the imperial city to compete. The winner will receive a favor from the princess, which may be Ning's only chance to save her sister's life. But between the backstabbing competitors, bloody court politics, and a mysterious (and handsome) boy with a shocking secret, Ning might actually be the one in more danger.
And what are you waiting for? Let me know your thoughts about this one or leave me the link to your WoW and I check it out.
