With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*
I am linking up with Caffeinated Reviewer and Reading Reality and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.
Stacking The Shelves #230

Sunday Post #187
The past week was a very sportive one. It took me over two hours to cut back a huge bush with a handsaw. And no, I don´t own any tools that work with fuel or electricity for that kind of garden work. After that, I mowed the new lawn with a garden scissor to steam off the anger I felt after I noticed that some of the carefully grown columbines had been destroyed. Who does that?!
It felt good to prepare the garden in bright and warm sunshine for the new spring flowers and to see that we´ve got some tea roses in one corner of the garden. Wish me luck that I will be able to replant them next week before my new neighbor kills them with the mower.
During my daily walks, I collected even more chestnuts. Big chestnuts. They look gorgeous and it makes literally fun to search for them. One I found behind a barrier. I could put my arm underneath it and grab it with my left hand. Unfortunately, the chestnut was right next to a splash of bird droppings...
My Fraterfest Readathon challenge isn´t going too well. I am barely able to read despite the good news, that all my medical test results have come back negative.
I can´t concentrate enough to read a full page let alone an entire book. And as you might have noticed, not much did happen on my blog. Ah well …
Good luck with the tea roses! And yay for nice weather. I didn't even get to fraterfest this year so don't feel bad haha! :) Seriously though, hope you're having a good weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteA nerve wracking week *sigh*
DeleteWe were traveling last weekend and I took some pictures of the beautiful fall leaves...I wish I had thought to post them! Lovely pictures. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI love fall colors. Reminds me of the Indian summer while I was living in the US.
