With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*
I am linking up with Caffeinated Reviewer and Reading Reality and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.
Stacking The Shelves #217
No new book.
Sunday Post #174
My last Sunday was a normal Sunday. I visited some blogs, watched a bit of TV, watered parts of the garden, and chatted with one of my neighbors.
After an almost sleepless night, I drove Monday morning to my Mammography screening. The whole screening fun took less than ten minutes. Now it's just a matter of waiting and hoping that the result isn't anything abnormal.
On Tuesday I had what I call a “black day”. I didn´t do anything.
Wednesday morning, I had a dentist appointment. And with that, my medical week is over. Thank God! After that, I went to the supermarket and did some garden work later. My plants and seedlings are growing nicely there and every time I go in, I get some new ideas on how I can improve the garden.
Thursday was another quiet day. I went to the supermarket, and later early to bed. I was so worn out. I spent parts of my Friday afternoon in the garden before I went upstairs again. Tried to read but somehow my current read can´t catch my attention as much as I would want *sigh*
On Saturday an earthquake hit us. Not exactly where I live, but with a magnitude of 4.7, I could feel it even here. My printer was shaking and some of my books fell off their shelves. Was a strange feeling. I spent almost all afternoon in the garden. And my Mammography screening result came. They found nothing. Phew.
Today, Sunday, I slept long after another sleepless night. I wrote this post, edited some pictures, and hope that I will later be able to concentrate on my current read. Need to get it done. The book came with a deadline *sigh*
How was your week? Stay safe and healthy.
Happy reading
Wow an earthquake. Glad it wasn't TOO serious but still... scary. Sounds like you had some nice garden time this week, too. Hope you're having a nice weekend... :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a noisy weekend most of the time *sigh*
DeleteI believe an earthquake is more than enough excitement for one week!! I hope you find something to read this week that keeps your attention.
ReplyDeleteHave a good one!

Thank you. Hope you will have a good new week yourself.
DeleteI'm glad your medical appointments went well. For a few weeks in June we had 3-4 a week, which is exhausting, and the heat now is oppressive too. So I'm glad we were done with them when it wasn't quite so hot. I finally got the new primroses I ordered in March or April and now I have to get them planted soon. I hope this week is more fun.

I am glad too *:-)
DeleteGlad for good medical results! I experienced an earthquake once, it was hundreds of miles away from my house, but I could feel the walls shaking by night, it woke me up. Really weird. Enjoy your week!
