With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*
I am linking up with Caffeinated Reviewer and Reading Reality and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.
Stacking The Shelves #202
Usually I only “buy” freebies or -,99 cent eBooks. But this time I made an exception, though it is the most expensive I´ve ever bought.

Sunday Post #159
The past week was filled with bright sunshine but cold temperatures. Monday to Saturday I could see an incredibly blue sky and smelled the very sweet scent of a bush I walk by almost every day. It was not easy to watch others being in their gardens and taking care of everything while I had to stay away from it. Ah well …
So instead of using the sunny weather for some digging and preparing, I read the Tracy Wolff book Crave within a few hours, and set an application for the reading round Crush at a German forum. Sadly, didn´t win it.
Thursday, after a sleepless night, I went into town early to throw my voting envelope into the town hall's mailbox. On the roof of the glass entrance, two men were taking care of the plants up there and it was fun to watch them for a few minutes.
On Friday, I wrote some new blog content, saw, that already one year has gone by after my Covid-19 infection last March/April and it made me think how much has changed since then. The next day, Saturday, I went to a very crowded supermarket to get some fresh veggies and other things. I am still amazed to see all the empty shelves and rising prices while other shelves are filled to the brim and some products still show the same price tag.
Do you know pumpkin seed oil? At home in Styria in Austria, we love to put it into our salad. Like sunflower oil or olive oil. It is green, very rich in taste, contains lots of vitamins, and is absolutely delicious. And has become very expensive during the past few days. So no new bottle for me.
Saturday night to Sunday night we had to turn our clocks again. I am so tired and annoyed by it. I miss the hour we lose going into summertime. Can someone please tell me why we still do it although everyone knows that we aren´t saving any electrical power with that stupid turning the clock? It only reminds me of the pink panther saying “Who has turned the clock?! Is it already that late?
Today, Sunday, all those who are eligible to vote, are asked to place their vote for a new major.
How was your week? Stay safe and healthy.
Happy reading
We were looking forward to spring until this new batch of snow and cold weather arrived. We wait for at least another week. Have a good reading week.
ReplyDeleteThank you. You too.
DeleteWe had to turn our clock as well in Belgium and I hate it! Also I love Crave ;-)
ReplyDeleteI liked Crave very much and hope that the second will be as good or even better *smile*
DeleteI'm glad to hear you are voting. Wishing you a spring weather week and some great reads.
