With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*
I am linking up with Caffeinated Reviewer and Reading Reality and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.
Stacking The Shelves #197
No new books.
Sunday Post #154
The past Monday was another black day. I can´t even tell you what I did or didn´t do that day. Well, cancel that day. Tuesday, I went back to a somehow busy routine. I paid some bills, went from one bank to the next and got some information brochures. On my way back home, I discovered to my utter delight, that the Christmas roses I had to replant from the front yard to the backyard are blooming. Purple and white. I will take some pictures next week when the weather is hopefully a bit better. Later I went to the supermarket for some veggies and fruits.
The next two days, Wednesday, and Thursday, I didn´t do much except for trying to find some masks and other groceries I couldn´t get Tuesday. I saw the beautiful portraits; the British Prince of Wales had commissioned of the remaining UK Holocaust survivors. I wrote some new blog content, published new reviews, and did some research.
Friday and Saturday we had mixed weather. One day was cold and cloudy, the next was bright sun but still cold. On Friday I tried to call the Mammography office for some information. Will have to call them again next week. Although it is an important appointment for us women, I am not sure if I will go and get it over with or just reschedule it. I watched Biathlon at the Winter Olympics on Saturday, the only competition that I want to watch. It is kind of interesting to hear what the German journalists who are in China, report from their hotel room or the Olympic location they are at, and to see how the Chinese officials try to prevent them from doing so.
Later that day I watched the news about the 70th anniversary of her reign, The Queen is having on Sunday.
Today, Sunday, I woke up early but stayed in bed for a bit longer staring at my ceiling. I am not depressive but sometimes it feels pretty good to just lay there and do nothing, not even thinking. Later, I watched the pictures the BBC news aired during the morning, taken yesterday at Sandringham. I hope that I can later visit other blogs and give back some of the love you gave me during the last few days.
How was your week? Stay safe and healthy.
Happy reading
Ooh, I hope you'll share some pictures of your roses that are blooming, they sound so pretty! Hope that you have a nice week.

I do get depressed and have some dark days. The dreary weather doesn't help with that. I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome about the roses.
ReplyDeleteIt's very interesting about the Olympics and reporters trying to report in a free country kind of mindset and the chinese trying to prevent that. I think these are going to be very interesting Games to watch on a lot of levels.
I've noticed too that sometimes I just sit and "am". Not necessarily doing anything! I would never have done that at 18 lol- had to always be moving! I guess as we get a little older sometimes it's good to just sit and look at nature or just "be."
:)
I hope this week is a bit warmer. I am tired because I stay up late watching the Olympics and I love everything, all the sports. It's a good thing it only lasts a couple weeks. I'd get behind on my reading otherwise.
