With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*
I am linking up with Tynga´s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.
Stacking The Shelves #127
I got myself a freebie. Please check if it is still for free before you click it.
Sunday Post #84
The past week was a pretty quiet one. Most of my neighbors were or are on vacation or holiday and when you live in a neighborhood with mostly southerner nationals you know how loud and chatty, they can be. I don´t mind that but from time to time it is quite a relief when you hear at night nothing but the wind, rain, or nothing at all.
I managed to edit some further old posts and have only a few pages in my dashboard left before blogger will change it for good into the new one, everybody seems to dislike. I finished the book I was reading while participating in a reading-round, and now I am due to write my review about it. It was so much fun to talk and discuss with all the other participants about the book, scenes, the figures, and to guess what the author was thinking while writing the one or the other scene or dialogue. Guess I had a good time.
My book requests got approved. It seems lately, that those requests I write directly to a publisher get approved while those, I place in a blogger forum get denied. No clue why that is but it makes me think a bit. But hey, next month is my birthday and for that special day, I always buy myself a book. I only have to decide which one it will be this time. I actually had in mind Aurora Rising, but the German edition won´t be published until somewhen next year, so I am still thinking about what book it´s going to be….
How was your week? Stay safe and healthy.
Happy reading

That's amazing that your requests get approved! I don't have such success but honestly I don't know if I could follow LOL
ReplyDeleteWell, I do this now for over ten years - reviewing books. And the time frame for them is around six months. They do not arrive all at once *smile*
DeleteAh the joy of contemplating which book to buy and which book to read!
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart Here is my Sunday Post
The biggest challenge in a book lovers life *lol*
DeleteI’m not sure of the new Blogger, it has some good points and some bad but by the sounds of it Wordpress is changing to with their block editor.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week and enjoy your peace and quiet!
Yep, I heard that too. Hopefully blogger can undo some of the bad things I loved while working with the old design. Although I am not happy with this change at all!
DeleteWe have a very quiet neighbour on one side, but the other side is a rental so the occupants seem to change every 6 months and have run the gamut from noisy to quiet. The current tenants are a little strange, but not noisy.
ReplyDeleteChoosing just one book is so hard!
Wishing you a great reading week
Ah yes, neighbors ... Not sure if I will only choose one book *smile*
DeleteIt is nice to have quiet sometimes! Hope you are having a good weekend. Sounds like your reading- round discussions were fun too, glad it was a good book.
ReplyDeleteTake care this week, and good luck with your book picking decision. :)
Thank you *smile*
