Waiting On Wednesday #126 – Caterpillar Summer by Gillian McDunn


is a weekly event that was originally hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. This meme is a place that spotlights upcoming releases that we´re eagerly anticipating with pure joy. There are a lot of new books coming out each year and some of them catch my attention and will get a spotlight in my Waiting on Wednesday post. While some of them will finally end up here at my place, others won´t. I am joining Tressa at Wishful Endings and her meme Can´t-Wait Wednesday.

When I saw the book among the new releases for this year, I just wanted it. The cover is so pretty and the summary sounds so intriguing that I hope that this will be a heartwarming story. The author is new to me, so I am very curious how it will turn out and if I will like the style and story.

Cat and her brother Chicken have always had a very special bond--Cat is one of the few people who can keep Chicken happy.
