With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*
I am linking up with Tynga´s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.
Stacking The Shelves #87
During the week I received some book mail. Both came from Fischer KJB and I am very happy about them. Thank you, Fischer, for sending them. One I already read, the other is one of my current reads. Need something light at the moment.

Sunday Post #44
The past week I was thinking about a lot of things. Nothing makes me really happy or satisfied. Either I am in a general awkward mood or I need to make some really big changes in my life. We had some very rainy days with too mild temperatures for the season and maybe that was the reason why I was in such a weird mood. But I am glad that I was able to read a bit.
I decided to sign-up for the HoHoHo Readathon in November and finished the Fraterfest Readathon with one finished book and the win of a gift card. I was completely surprised to be picked as a winner and very curious now if I can get what I have in mind.
And I achieved my goal for the Backlist Reader Challenge. The book I read for the Fraterfest was one from my TBR and with that, I could finish the challenge.
How was your week?
Happy reading

Vi I so relate to your mood as here it's been rainy and with a mild weather too. Shorter days don't help either!
ReplyDeleteUsually, I am not that sensitive but this year it is really awful. Thanks for your visit.
DeleteNice new books this week, Vi! And way to go on the readathons. I don't usually participate in those, I feel like as soon as I set a goal for myself, I can't read anything at all :)
ReplyDeleteIt's been pretty mild here, too, even if we got a lot of rain last week. Today, the sun is shining through the clouds, though, and it looks rather peaceful out there.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

I have one christmas book for the HoHoHo already in mind and am pretty sure that I will be able to read it. But you are right, the moment you sign up for it and set a goal, it changes everything *smile* Thanks for your visit.
DeleteSounds like you did great on accomplishing some of your reading goals this month. Congrats on the gift card win too!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Yep, so far I am doing great with my goals. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteYay for the book mail! And I'm looking forward to the HoHoHo readathon- I always enjoy that one. :)

Thank you!
DeleteOops! I've just been wittering on about how nice it is to have the weather so mild! But my default is that I dread the cold weather and assume everyone else does, too. My apologies... Congratulations on your win - and on reaching your target for the 2019 Beat the Backlist Reader Challenge. I have sort of stacked mine up to register them in one lump which is a bit daft really. I hope the coming week is less awkward - it's a really grotty feeling!
ReplyDeleteUsually I don´t mind a mild October, but this year it is definitely too warm. You could easily be outside in shorts, t-shirt and sandals. But as soon as the sun is gone, it is freezing. Not really good. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteI was delighted to see your number pop up on random.org. I loved your Instagram photos. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you, what a nice compliment! Sometimes, life is full of surprises *smile*
DeleteI'm glad to hear you are having great success with your challenges and getting books you want to read. Have a lovely week!
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart Here is my Sunday Post
