With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*
I am linking up with Tynga´s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.
Stacking The Shelves #83
It had a bit of a drama until my birthday book arrived. I treated myself with the German edition of Nora Roberts “Of Blood And Bone” called Schattendämmerung and thought it would be here on my birthday. But apparently, the system gave out the “it-has-arrived-at-the-post-office-of-your-choice message” a bit too early and all I´ve got was the very sorry smile of the woman who works there. The next day it finally was there and when I came home, I found in my mailbox the new Julie Kagawa book (the German edition of Shadow of the Fox) I had asked for weeks ago. I was in heaven that afternoon. There is no better feeling than that which you feel while unpacking a book, don´t you think?!

Sunday Post #40
Besides the fact that I couldn´t get myself to do some blogging stuff, not to mention writing any reviews, I was able to enjoy the sun we had over the past few days. The temperatures feel very moderate despite being above 20°C. But the sun isn´t as powerful as she was during the past weeks and with the right clothes on you can actually enjoy the weather pretty well. Maybe the late sun is the reason why I haven´t done much blogging or writing reviews or other blog content. I am more into reading a book rather than writing a review. Oh, and you might remember that one of my library Ladies has asked me to read a book they´ve got as a present and to tell her how I thought about it? Well, I read it and my result was scathing. And no, I will not write a review about it or put it on my blog. Just to get you into the picture.
Happy reading

I Love book mail, or book email as I get most of my books in digital format. Although the publishers are often kind enough to send me actual books which surprise and delight me. I give some of those away with my reviews though. I hope you have a great week and enjoy your new books!

I barely read ebooks, so the books I receive from publishers are always actual books. If there is some swag in it too, I am happy. Guess we all are happy when that happens *smile* Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteBooks arriving are the best! :)
ReplyDeleteI love it when the weather holds out and is nice this time of year. Hope you have a great week ahead! :)
The weather is mixed. One hour sun, the next clouds and some rain. Crazy. Thanks for your visit.
DeleteIt’s funny how widely covers can vary, the Australian covers of those books are different again.
ReplyDeleteHave a great reading week
Oh, I didn´t know that. Guess, I ´ll have to check them out *smile*. Thanks for stopping by.
