is a weekly event that was originally hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. This meme is a place that spotlights upcoming releases that we´re eagerly anticipating with pure joy.
There are a lot of new books coming out each year and some of them catch my attention and will get a spotlight in my Waiting on Wednesday post. While some of them will finally end up here at my place, others won´t. I am joining Tressa at Wishful Endings and her meme Can´t-Wait Wednesday.
I am a Karin Slaughter fan since I discovered her Grant County series with the thriller Blindsighted.
And today I am presenting her newest thriller in her Georgia series. Good, it will be out very soon, but I only discovered it at the publisher´s website this morning. Yep, I know, sometimes … And because the German edition will be published first (don´t ask me why that is) and I could read both, languages I mean, I am presenting both editions.

I've read a couple of Slaughter books, but nothing in this series. I have to admit, some of them have been pretty terrifying!
ReplyDeleteGuess it depends on how you define "terrifying" *smile. I remember the marketing text for Blindsighted and was expecting kind of a horror thriller. When I was finished with the book I thought, well, and where was now the terrifying stuff? You see, it is all a matter of perspective *smile* Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteI love a good thriller. And the CDC angle has me really curious- I like conspiracy type plots like that. :)
ReplyDeleteMe too. One of my fav authors. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteI haven't read many of Karin Slaughter's books. But this sounds interesting!
