With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*
I am linking up with Tynga´s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.
Stacking The Shelves #74
No new books this week. Sorry guys.
Sunday Post #31
I just made myself laughing and shaking my head in disbelief because I had to go and check the book on my couch, to know what I am currently reading *lol* Only to find out, that I am reading a series I already know from its TV show and that I started a series in the middle. Oh boy, and we haven´t even started yet with the high temperatures!
Maybe that is why I spent my entire Sunday morning writing reviews and other blog posts, checking links, and change some style. Not sure if I will be able to blog much over the next few days with temperatures expected around 103 degrees. Yap, no joke. I am living in an area that is about to get hit during the last week of June with that kind of heat. And no one knows how long that heat will stay.
During the past week, I was still trying to figure out how my blog will look like in the near future. Yap, that subject is still on my mind. I found two templates, that I like, but they will change the look completely. No matter which one. It is, to be true, damn hard to find another template that not only fulfills my design wishes but also gives my reviews and posts the look and shape I want them to have. Especially considered the fact, that I am completely happy with the current design and look of my blog and posts. So, at the moment, I am not sure if that change will ever happen.

I tend to keep my blog with the same format until I feel like it isn't working for me. It's so much trouble to change things, and sometimes it shifts around all the old posts.
ReplyDeleteThose are high temps! We tend to hover around the 90's most of the summer, and I'm quite accustomed to it. We get a nice breeze from the Gulf of Mexico every day, so that helps a lot. Plus air conditioning.
I hope you have a great week!
Here in Germany a house usually does not have air condition. People are not used of having such high temperatures. But after the past year, I guess I need to get one installed. It is TOO HOT!
DeleteThe thing is, my blog design IS working for me. It is only the damn HTTP/HTTPS thing. And with my designer no longer in business, I fear I have to change something. If I can´t reach her.
Thanks for stopping by.
Is there are Bergman and Rekt series? I’d love to see that.
ReplyDeleteHave a great reading week, stay cool!
Yes, The Chosen is the, I guess, #5 in the Bergman & Recht series. Did not realize that when I picked the book. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteHonestly, I've had to step away from the computer to check what book it was I am reading. So, I'm totally laughing right now too. I hope this week treats you well!
ReplyDeleteNow you made ME laugh too. As if my brain is on hold or maybe I am reading too much? Oh well ... Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteChanging your blog design is always a chore. I wish you luck in finding something that suits!
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, right now I am stuck with it. Not sure if I will change it, since I´ve got some new info with the damn HTTP/HTTPS thing. Thanks for stopping by.
