is a weekly event that was originally hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. This meme is a place that spotlights upcoming releases that we´re eagerly anticipating with pure joy.
There are a lot of new books coming out each year and some of them catch my attention and will get a spotlight in my Waiting on Wednesday post. While some of them will finally end up here at my place, others won´t. I am joining Tressa at Wishful Endings and her meme Can´t-Wait Wednesday.
Okay, this time my Waiting on Wednesday post goes far into the future – at least it seems to me that it is far away. Next year in March, a German author called Britta Sabbag celebrates the release day of a book, that contains a story set in Ireland. The fun thing here is, I haven´t read any of her other books so far. And as you might have guessed, yes, I have the one or the other from her laying on my TBR.
Why am I looking forward to this one? It wasn´t the cover, that´s for sure. But the summary sounds kind of intriguing and made me curious.

Imagine receiving a letter from your future self. Would you read it? That´s no question for Gesine. Of course, she would. Because after the death of her mother she has to move alone to a relative in Ireland. In the small, sleepy little village of Blackwood, she has no one to talk to about her grief. Not even about Arian Mary, the outrageously handsome son of the local butter dynasty. In addition, the villagers make her crazy with stories about all sorts of supernatural stuff. All nonsense thinks Gesine. Until she finds a letter from her future self in a mysterious old desk, which confuses her world.
And what are you waiting for? Let me know your thoughts about this one or leave me the link to your WoW and I check it out.
Happy reading & waiting on
