is a weekly event originally hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. This meme is a place that spotlights upcoming releases that we´re eagerly anticipating with pure joy. For whatever reason Jill is not blogging since August 2016 but her meme is still going on. Hope everything is ok and she will be back soon! Until then, I am joining Tressa at Wishful Endings and her meme Can´t-Wait Wednesday.
Eva Völler is a German author who writes YA books. I already read the first book (Auf Ewig Dein) of this new Time School trilogy written by her and the cover gets me every time I look at it. This one has the same impact on me. I fell in love with the cover the first book had and was absolutely happy when I saw that the second book is designed in the same style and color scheme.
Please note: This novel will be published in the German language. If and when there will be an English edition I do not know at the moment.

A stranger has stolen the time machine and threatens to bring all humanity into chaos. Around the world, time passages occur suddenly. However, these only lead back to the past and not back without further ado – countless people threaten to be stranded forever in colonial times! While Anna and Sebastiano are still trying to seal these passages, Anna faces an eerie man in the way. He asks her to play a game that Anna and her Time School friends have to do a historical journey around the world. In eighty days! If they win, they get the time machine back. If they fail, not only is the game lost. Then Sebastiano must die too … (personal translation ©Vi at Inkvotary)

ReplyDeleteI´m afraid, no. Maybe sometime in the future, but so far I don´t have any information on that. Sorry ... Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteMy German has become so bad from disuse (my grandfather was one of the only people who spoke to me in German), but I agree, beautiful cover, and I am a fan of time travel books, especially if they incorporate a good deal of history in the story. I hope you love it when you read it!
ReplyDeleteI hope this one will be published as English edition in the near future. How nice that your grandfather spoke German with you. Mine did the same. Thanks for stopping by.

DeleteWOWZA!!! That's one seriously GORGEOUS cover!! And the plot sounds SO VERY FASCINATING, too!! What a shame that this book is not yet available in English....heck, or Spanish, since I can read in that language, too! Lol. Well, I sure hope it's translated into one of those languages, which are the only ones I know! (My French has almost totally disappeared.)
