Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tynga´s Reviews and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course ebooks! I am also connecting with Bought Borrowed & Bagged in homage of Barron´s Books & Baubles from Karen Marie Moning´s smash hit series, Fever, hosted by Braine at Talk Supe.
Lots of books have arrived over the past week at my place. Some of them I can display, others I have to wait until next week. Don´t ask; the reason behind that is as stupid as needless …
For quite some time now I had the Shatter Me books on my wishlist. I LOVE those covers and for a few days, I am totally happy to call them my own now. The rough cut looks great, and the colors and motives they used on the cover are fantastic. And finally, I´ve got my own Playing with Fire by Tess Gerritsen. I already read it some weeks back when I found it at my library, but know I have it brand new on my shelf. And I just noticed that except for one author, they are all new to me.

DeleteI absolutely can't wait to see what you'll think of the Shatter Me series, Vi! And please make sure you read the novellas as well - they really bring a lot of insight to some characters, and may change how you view things...
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend and happy reading.
Lexxie @ (un)Conventional Bookviews
Thanks a lot for your tip, Lexxie. I saw that the novellas are now available in print and since I still need the first book of this series too, I will get them together. Happy reading and thanks for stopping by.

DeleteOoo, looks like someone is going to be doing a Mafi marathon! :D I recently binge-read the trilogy (well, "recently" as in during the past year), and surprisingly I liked the series more than I expected. I hope you enjoy all of your new books!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous week, Vi. :)
Check out my STS post!
Hi Alyssa, thanks a lot for stopping by. If everything goes well, I hope I can read them during the christmas break the German publishers do from mid December until the second January week ... but who knows *smile*
DeleteIgnite Me and Unravel Me do have wonderful covers which can really attract you to pick up a book. I tend to avoid YA books because of tropes but I can still admire the covers! Have a good reading week!
ReplyDeleteI love reading YA book though I do read other genres as well. Thanks for stopping by :-)
DeleteEnjoy your books, and have a great week!
