Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tynga´s Reviews and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! I am also connecting with Bought Borrowed & Bagged in homage of Barron´s Books & Baubles from Karen Marie Moning´s smash hit series, Fever, hosted by Braine at Talk Supe.
Recently I bought the eBook, now I won the print book of Blanche-Die Schlacht AND IT IS EVEN SIGNED! Together with it came a lot of swag (lots of beautiful bookmarks & postcards) and a big card which says (written by hand!): All you need is love.
How great is that!?
I´ve got the great news out of the blue, right after I had received some other fantastic news. I got approved for an ARC. The US author is sending me a print book of her newest novel, which will be published in December. You can imagine how I freaked out. Since the ARC´s are a bit different from the reviewer´s copies we get here in German from the publishers, this one will be my very first ARC and I am looking absolutely forward to its arrival.
So said in books, this past week was a good one.

Nice mix of books this week. I have been seeing Jeaniene Frost books all over for years, but still have not read one. I will have to go through and make a decision as to which one to add to my TBR.
ReplyDeleteI like her style. Cat and all her other female figures are a bit sarcastic or ironic and do what they want to do *smile*
DeleteThanks for stopping by.
Congrats on the approval! That is amazing, and so well-deserved. I cannot wait for you to get it in the mail. :D In the meantime, I hope you enjoy all of your new books from this week!
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic weekend, Vi. :)
Check out my STS post!
Thank you, I am still kind of dancing around *laugh* Now I am counting days until it arrives. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteCongrats on getting an ARC! It's pretty rare when authors will send you an ARC personally and usually they only send within their country. So, that's pretty awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. I am still very excited about it. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteThat's exciting, Vi, that you'll get an ARC sent to you from the author :) I'm sure you will happy-dance even more when it arrives!
ReplyDeleteYour haul made me want to step back into Jeaniene Frost's universe of vampires and disappear for a bit :)

And your words made me smile, thanks for that on this rainy and foggy day. And you´re right: I was dancing through the house when I got my ARC :-)
